Do Justice for the Orphan

Kirk Belmont

As part of our special Orphan Sunday focus, we watched a 30-minute film by The Christian Alliance for Orphans called  Zambia's Gift to the World during the 9:00 am hour.  This film weaves the unlikely story of how Orphan Sunday began 10 years ago in a humble, hard-pressed church in Lusaka, Zambia…and today is impacting lives around the globe.

If you missed Zambia's Gift to the World on November 4, you can watch it here.  You'll encounter vibrant African Christians and the children they’ve embraced, as well as Steven Curtis Chapman, Francis Chan, and remarkable believers from around the world — all sharing of the beauty that rises when Christians reflect God’s heart for the fatherless.

Pastor Kirk also began the "Do Justice" sermon series this week and you can listen to the introductory message here...
