Explosion Youth Ministry
Our Mission
The mission of Hope Community Church Student Ministries is to bring glory God by igniting a strong Godly Faith in the hearts of our youth and challenge them to explode into the world to share the love of Christ through Grace and Truth.
Our Strategy
We do this through relationships with leaders and peers. We do this within and outside the church walls. We do this by studying the Truth and then learning to apply it to the challenges that the youth face in today's culture. We do this by having a blast as we do life together.
EXPLOSION YOUTH
Junior and senior high school students meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Teaching and discussion time allows students to share their thoughts and questions as they grow in their relationship with the Lord, each others, and the leaders. We look at a variety of issues that high school students are struggling with today. Along with the teaching, we do know how to have fun though! We mix things up with crazy games and lots of creative teaching methods.
CrossTraining - meets on Sundays at 9:00 am for junior high students. This time is designed to train students in the foundations of the faith and their knowledge of God’s Word. This class meets in the classroom directly off the youth room.
Table Talk - meets Sundays at 9:00am for senior high students. This time is for informal discussion as they learn to apply Biblical truthsto relevant topics in youth culture today. This class meets in the youth room.
Digging Deeper- is a senior high bible study for guys and girls that meets on Sundays twice a month at the home of one of our youth leaders. It begins at 6:30pm.
