Prayer

The mission of Hope’s Prayer Ministry is to bring before the Father our Praise and worship, thanksgiving and specific requests as the Hope body. The goal of Hope’s Prayer Ministry is that every ministry, family and individual would be presented to the Father in our prayers in order to encourage, transform and lift up specific needs.

Reasons to pray with a group:
  • It encourages consistency in prayer
  • Praying with others expands our prayer life
  • Praying together strengthens our faith
  • Mutual praying makes the large task of prayer more manageable.
“Ministry without prayer becomes work in the power of the flesh. Prayer without ministry is complacent Christianity. The two belong together.”

If we believe that prayers will make a difference, then we need to build every ministry on a foundation of prayer. Not only is prayer effective, it also changes us to understand God better. It helps us to see the world as God sees it. Through prayer we are surrendering our will to that of God. Prayer reminds us that the harvest is the Lord’s and we are his laborers.

Submitting a Prayer Request…
  • Submit a prayer request on Sunday morning with your attendance card found at the end of each row
  • Submit a prayer request and place it in the prayer box found in the foyer next to the offering box
  • Email or call the church office
Note: you may choose whether you would like only staff to be aware of your request or if you would like it forwarded on the prayer chain or Sunday’s bulletin (when appropriate and determined by space that is allowed for that week).
